Meet Our Coaches and Committee

The Ringwood Triathlon Club crew is made up of dedicated volunteers, coaches and committee members who help create a welcoming and supportive environment for athletes of all abilities.

Our team includes accredited triathlon coaches and experienced athletes who are passionate about helping members achieve their swim, bike and run goals.

    Nick Cherrie

    Club President

    Nick leads the club committee and supports the continued growth of Ringwood Triathlon Club, helping foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for members.

    Greg Waite

    Club Vice President

    Greg supports club operations and works closely with the committee to deliver training, events and member engagement activities.

    Hank Wang

    Club Treasurer

    Hank manages the club's financial administration and helps ensure the long-term sustainability of Ringwood Triathlon Club.

    Tim Brewster

    Club Secretary

    Tim coordinates club administration and communications.

    Tim is also an accredited Triathlon Coach who supports members across their training and racing journeys.

    Daryn James

    Run Coach

    Daryn is an accredited Triathlon Coach with more than 30 years of experience in endurance sport and athlete development.

    He assists members in developing their running technique, fitness and race preparation across all levels of experience.

    Trevor Buchanan

    Swim Coach

    Trevor "Medals" Buchanan is an experienced and accredited Triathlon Coach and five-time Ironman World Championship competitor in Kona.

    Trevor helps members improve swimming technique, confidence and performance through structured training and practical coaching advice.
